Kat Hannon moved from London to Chester over 10 years ago thinking Chester was a bijou city built for families with dogs, to take walks along the river, Sunday lunch and grab coffees between the school run and work. Well, it is. It is this and so much more and has reflected in Kats work through the incredible opportunities she’s embarked.
Chester is one of the most historic cities in the Uk and keeps hold of pastures old. In relaunching Kat Hannon photography in Chester Kat found that it is also home to the new. In this portfolio Kat wanted to exhibit the works she has created with the local companies.
Chester is an extremely creative little city, with a huge creative digital community, the most amazing forward thinking Zoo, The Grosvenor Museum, a stunning museum building itself with caverns of Roman artefacts and contemporary exhibitors all year long. The city has fashion designers, fashion labels, independents shops, booming hospitality, and incredible health and wellbeing community and the famous Chester Racecourse. All of which will feature in these next images.
